The main ingredient of this weight loss diet is pearl barley, which possesses valuable qualities.

  • It promotes weight loss.
  • It cleanses the body.
  • It stimulates metabolic processes.

Diet Principles

Pearl barley does not burn fat. The action mechanism of this slimming diet functions in the following order:

  • the bowel is cleansed,
  • the excess fluid is excreted,
  • a few kilograms of fat go away because of the low caloric content of the dishes.

When you get back to your traditional nutrition, excess weight is likely to return, so it is worthwhile to take longer, sparing diets on pearl barley. Since this cereal has a diuretic effect, it is important to consume enough fluids. The good thing is that the list of recommended fluids for this weight loss diet is not limited with water, and includes:

  • tea,
  • rosehip decoction,
  • plain mineral water.

  3. Cook over low heat for half an hour.
